EVENT WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 AM DOWNTOWN MAIN STREET WITH REGISTRATION. CAR SHOW WILL BEGIN AT 11:00 AM.
We will be selecting a committee to judge this years car show. If you are interested please give Tracy Roberts a call or private message us.

All direct sales, drink, or food vendors must be approved by host of event. Only one direct sales, drink, or food vendor will be accepted in their category. The first to request and pay entry fee will be approved. You will receive email notification for payment once you have been approved. You will have 48 hours to pay invoice. If invoice is not paid within 48 hours the next direct sales, drink, or food vendor will be contacted. (examples: Avon, Tupperware, Scentsy, Lemonade, BBQ, Hamburgers). Payments can be made via paypal to galenaparksnrec@galenaks.gov or mailed to 211 W 7th St, Galena, Ks 66739

Select all that you wish to apply for now! Galena Days Car Show is on Saturday during Galena Days. Begins at 10am. Big Bang is the last Saturday in June. Begins at 4pm. Bloktoberfest is the second Saturday in October. Begins at 12pm. Home for the Holidays is the first Saturday in December. Begins at 12pm.

Hold Harmless Agreement
I assume all risk of bodily injury, property damage, and personal damage that may occur by participating in the Galena Days Car Show, Big Bang, Bloktoberfest, and/or Home for the Holidays and, for myself/ourselves, their heirs, executors, and administrators, do hereby forever waive and release any and all claims against and agree to hold harmless the City of Galena, Galena Parks N Rec, its committee, sponsors and volunteers, and successors or assigns any kind from any and all claims which may be made for any cause whatsoever arising as a result of participation. Further, I hereby consent to allow my picture(s) or likeness to appear in any official document, news release, sponsor advertisement, and/or television and radio coverage of the events within or as part of the Galena Days Car Show, Big Bang, Bloktoberfest, and/or Home for the Holidays and grant permission to use and/or publish photographic portraits or pictures, video tape, or film of me in which I may be included in whole, part, composite, or reproductions thereof in black and white and/or color or otherwise made through any media now known for art, advertising, trade, or any other similar lawful purposes whatsoever, including the publicity and promotion of this event itself, excluding commercial use of or by marketing professionals.

I certify by signing this electronically, that all the information submitted by me on this application is true and complete, and I understand that if any false or misleading information, omissions, or misrepresentations are discovered, my application may be rejected, and if I am employed, my employment may be terminated at any time. In consideration of my employment, I agree to conform to the office’s rules and regulations, and I understand that these rules and or the employee handbook do not form a contract of employment either expressed or implied, and I agree that my employment and compensation can be terminated, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at any time, at either my or the department’s option.
