Speak at a City Council Meeting

Citizens may address the council and speak on most agenda items by contacting the City Clerk’s Office and requesting to be added to the upcoming agenda. The deadline for signing up is 12:00 noon on the Friday prior to the council meeting. You can speak on several items; however, citizens may not speak on briefings, executive sessions or on items where the public hearing has been closed. To sign up to be on the agenda please call the City Clerks office at 620-783-5265 ext. 1.

*BY COMPLETING THIS FORM IN ITS ENTIRETY, YOU ARE STATING THAT YOU WISH TO BE PLACED ON THE AGENDA TO SPEAK IN FRONT OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL. ONLY FORMS FILLED OUT ENTIRELY WILL BE APPROVED TO BE PLACED ON THE AGENDA. YOU WILL BE GIVEN FIVE (5) MINUTES TO SPEAK ABOUT YOUR TOPIC.

Council Meetings are held the first and third Monday every month at 6:00 pm, unless that Monday is a city recognized Holiday, then the meeting will be the following day.
