The City of Galena is pleased to welcome Joyce Britton as our new Ward 4 Council Member, filling the unexpired council term July of 2026.
Joyce has a passion for serving others and is deeply committed to making Galena a stronger community. She is a dedicated supporter of local events, believes in caring for our senior citizens through programs such as senior meal services, and generously volunteers her time at the Galena Historical Mining Museum.
Family and friends are at the center of Joyce’s life, and she brings that same caring spirit to public service. She is committed to listening to residents, working hard for the community, and helping ensure Galena continues to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family
