Trash Service Delay 1/22/2024

Due to road conditions at this time trash pick up services will be delayed. We will start services as soon as the road conditions improve. Thank you for your patience at this time. For city utility emergencies please call 620-783-5065.

Trash Pick Up Delay

Update as of 8:45 am. Trash Routes are postponed for today. We will resume Mondays trash route on Wednesday. We will keep everyone updated on dates for trash service pick up. Thank you for your patience.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures there will be a delay in trash pick up. We will be starting today, Tuesday January 16th with Mondays route. Tuesdays and Wednesdays route will be picked up on Wednesday, January 17th. Stay safe everyone.

Closed Monday January 15th

City offices will be closed Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Mondays solid waste routes will run on Tuesday January 16th. For utility emergencies please call 620-783-5065.
City Council meeting will be Tuesday January 16th at 6:00pm.

New Years Hours

The City offices will be closed in observance of the New Year on January 1st and January 2nd. City Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 6:00 pm. Solid Waste routes for the 1st and 2nd will run on the 3rd. For utility emergencies during this time please contact the Galena Police Department at 620-783-5065.
